Winterscapes

The 2024 Winterscapes Photo Contest is upon us and there are lots of new exciting things happening!

Winterscapes is now incorporating an Edmonton-wide city map that allows residents to enter in their addresses to showcase their Winterscape yard for all Edmontonians to see!

Enter in one of our three categories:

Winter Art
These artistic winterscapes feature creative and eye-catching winter scenes including snow or ice sculptures. Embellish your creations with plants, colourful decorations or wildlife-friendly features.

Winter Play
These fun and play-friendly winterscapes feature whimsical elements such as snow slides, forts, snowpeople or ice creations. Suitable for group activities!

Winter Lights
These bright and twinkling winterscape yards feature hanging winter lights, light up decor, and illuminating snow creations. An enchanting way to brighten up any neighborhood.

Get cracking – or should we say shovelling – on those front yard displays and submit your nomination to the Winterscapes Contest!

Winterscape creations may be in your front yard, school yard, balcony, or community hall grounds. For more information, please read the terms and conditions.

Light up your neighbourhood, sculpt with snow, create playful winter scenes, build works of art, or maintain a natural winter yard.

Schools can enter too and will be eligible for a special prize!
